A Little Piece of Love 2

Acrylic & Gold Leaf on Canvas
Canvas size 15 x 15cm, framed 24 x 24cm

My painting is one of six paintings which, when arranged together, make up the word LOVE in a rather psychedelic pattern reminding me of a Jimi Hendrix poster I had back in my hippie days!

Each painting contains gold leaf and vibrates with colour. The edges are painted in bright reds, pinks or oranges which reflect a glowing warmth on the inside edges of their chunky tray frames.

Aglow

Acrylic on Canvas 91 x 76.5cm

One of a pair of acrylic paintings which took AGES to resolve. There are umpteen layers on each and many areas I loved had to be obliterated for the sake of the whole!
.
The edges are a deep but bright almost luminous red which glow against the wall. I am loving them more and more as i leave then return to them, filling me with with joy i experienced during their creation.

What I See!

Acrylic on Canvas 91 x 61cm
.
Pushing the boundaries of the colour red. Loving the result and the vibrant luminous edges which reflect a warm glow against the wall.
