Based around the Manchester bee this painting was commissioned by a lovely client with very specific requirements. Representing both hard work and working together the Manchester bee became the symbol for the city during the Industrial Revolution and is significant for my client who originally hails from Manchester.

The honeycomb hexagons were very time consuming to create but ultimately effective. The painting sits within an oval shaped mount in a beautiful rectangular frame. The style of architecture of the home in which it is now hung is the perfect situation for this different artwork on paper.

I believe I created a unique and original image that will give my customer and her husband enjoyment for many years to come.
