Baubles are frivolous and decorative and these seem so too.

However inside each bauble is information about the origin of each medium, the PRODUCTION PROCESS and COLLABORATION
involved, and my use of the medium in my work.

Each piece is an original; a plastic bauble covered with materials and media I use in my practice as a painter. Some of the applied outer coverings have been produced or made available to me by others invention and endeavour, and some is pigment I have made from natural sources.

There is always so much more to learn and I hope to encourage the bauble receiver to investigate further and consider how we employ people and use the planet’s resources.
